  Okay, kids. We need someone who wants to do a Food Hub. Aggregation of farm products, so buyers can deal with one person instead of dealing with 50 farmers. Does anyone know anyone who is super organized, who might love doing something like this? I'm getting requests from high-end restaurants all over the state for locally-grown food...

  Another idea: Bronwynn has been researching lots of Food Hub-style ordering/distribution systems, but the best she's found is Local Dirt. We could have this up this summer. It would take a lot of work getting all the restaurants up to speed, getting producers signed up so they can post what food they have available, etc, but we get started right away. It has the capacity to grow from individuals buying from small framers all the way up to large farms dealing with distributors. The Meadow Street Market could sign up as a distribution center.
