Looking for honest handyman for small job... Wondering if anyone has recommendations for a local handyman who can assist with a small job at my place. I asked a service for a quote and it was hundreds more than what I would have expected.
Thanks in advance.
LF: a roofer/gutter expert for a small-ish job Hello all,
We are located in Barrhaven and we are having trouble finding someone to add a drip-edge to the eavestrough on the back of our house to prevent water going behind our gutter and under our eaves. Nobody seems to want to do it since it's "too small of a job".
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good company that might be willing to do this? We would also need them to turn around a dryer vent near the roof that we can't reach with our ladder.
Thank you in advance!

I know most of the roofing/gutter guys have a minimum fee, because it costs them other work to come and do your small job. You might try one of the Handyman type guys, my parents have used http://www.joekanfixit.com/ for a bunch of jobs. Update this thread with your experience if you manage to find someone and get it done.
