My name is Jennifer Davis. I was born and raised in Miami, Fl., attended the University of Colorado at Boulder (where I majored in Business) and then married my High School Sweetheart. Yes, we are “those” people. We have two amazing daughters, a dog and a cat- and have been a military family for 13 years.
With all of the moves that we have made, I am very familiar with the endless cycle of packing and unpacking and turning every house into a “home.” I believe that we are not truly settled until some of our family photos are hung. Even though they have been on MANY different walls, the stories that they tell- remain constant.
I’ve always been an animated story teller, a “talker” you might say. Recently, I have discovered that when I am behind a camera, I tend to look and listen to spot the moments that make up the stories of the lives of others. I want to provide you with a story to hang on your wall.
People either love to have their pictures taken, or not. I want to make it my job to make everyone feel comfortable and have fun. I don’t want to direct pose after pose after pose, but rather capture the moments in between.
Before your session we will work together to pick a place that you are excited about and/or has special meaning to you. I prefer outdoor portrait sessions, and also love indoor at-home sessions for a more relaxed and intimate feel.
After the session, you will view a gallery full of a variety of images that reflect who you are as a couple or a family, with the hopes that we can build a relationship that allows me to continue to capture who you are for years to come.
