About us
I started Peace, Love, & Cakes January 2012 and have loved watching it grow from a small little cake business to what it is today. I am an in home operation at the moment, but with the constant growth am looking to open a store front soon. I am completely self taught and have worked very hard at my craft to achieve the very best product. I love creating custom birthday cakes, wedding cakes, and cakes for all occasions. I also enjoy making cupcakes, and cookies. It has always been a dream of mine to own a bakery, and I love getting to be a part of so many specials moments in so many different people's lives. I am so thankful for the amazing support system I have not only at home but in the community itself. I look forward to many more years of supplying BCS and surrounding areas with the very best.
I run my business as a sole proprietor under the Texas Cottages Food Laws. This means I am the only one answering all messages, emails, running all errands, baking and decorating all of my cakes and cookies, and managing all my social media pages. On top of that I am also a wife and mother of 3 awesome boys, who deserves time off with her family. Please be patient and understand that I try to respond to all inquiries in the order they are received, as quickly as my schedule allows. That means it may be 3-7 days before you hear back from me. If you are contacting me 1-2 weeks prior to an event, you may not end up on my calendar as I book 3-4 weeks in advance on average.

I need at least 2 weeks notice for... show more an order if I am not already booked. The earlier I know, the better. Plan ahead! I usually stay booked about 3-4 weeks in advance. I occasionally have openings so check with me just in case! I will also post openings on the Peace Love & Cakes Facebook page.
I generally do not take custom orders the week of a major Holiday (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter,etc.). However, you can check with me to see if I have an opening! I usually offer specials with a range of prices to accommodate more clients for the Holidays.
General Policies
Payment: Cash or check ONLY. (There will be a $30.00 fee for returned checks.) To ensure your order is scheduled and reserved on my calendar, payment is due up front (as soon as you let us know that you would like to order). Orders are NOT confirmed and NOT started without payment in full. Please review the policies regarding deposits.
Order Pick-up: Orders can be picked up at my home in Bryan, Texas Thursday-Saturday during one of my predetermined time slots. I do not allow pick-ups on Monday-Wednesday. If your order is not picked up during the agreed upon time slot and I have not heard from you, I will assume you are not coming and cancel the order. No refunds will be given for orders that are completed and not picked up. **I will work with you if you need to adjust your pick-up time, however I must be kept in the loop.
Once your order is exchanged, Peace Love & Cakes is no longer liable for any damage. This also applies to exchanges via a third party.
Delivery/Set--Up: For Weddings, Quinceañeras and Large Parties Cake Table set-up services start at $25.00. Delivery fees are applied on a case by case basis.
Out-Of-Town Deliveries: I will only deliver out of town (up to 120 miles from the BCS area), for orders with a minimum of purchase of $800.00 (not including price of delivery, setup and travel).
Deposits: Orders from $100 to $250 require a non-refundable $50.00 deposit to hold the date. For orders greater than $250, please refer to policies for weddings and large parties. This deposit will be applied to your invoice. The remaining balance of your invoice must be paid the Monday before your scheduled pickup or delivery.
Cancellation/Refund Policy for Orders: NO CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES TO ORDERS THE WEEK OF PICK-UP/DELIVERY.
Deposits are NOT-REFUNDABLE or TRANSFERABLE. You may cancel your order and receive a full refund of your deposit IF you cancel 10 business days or more in advance of your delivery/due date. Any order that is cancelled with less than 10 business days’ notice will not receive a refunded deposit and your payment is non-transferable.
Rush Orders: When my schedule allows, I can try to accommodate rush orders. Any order booked with a turnaround of 7 days or less will incur a RUSH fee of $20 or 20% of the order total, whichever is higher.
Peace Love & Cakes reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time for any reason. **(This would likely only happen for one of the following reasons; 1) Unavoidable family emergency which would prevent Peace Love & Cakes from completing your order. 2) Clients who are late without notice or clients who are rude or disrespectful. 3) If I feel the requested design in inappropriate or I do not feel comfortable with the design artistically.
Cupcakes
• Pricing: Cupcakes start at $18/dozen with a 2 dozen minimum.
• Cupcakes are baked fresh the morning they are due and are not available for pick-up the day before.
NO CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES TO ORDERS THE WEEK OF PICK-UP/DELIVERY.
Cookies
• Pricing: Cookies start at $24/dozen with a 2 dozen minimum. I limit the number of designs to 2 per dozen. (Holiday Specials have special discount pricing)
• For Cookie Orders only, you may add singles over the 2 dozen minimum. Single cookies start at $2.00/cookie. (Example: If you need 29 cookies you only pay for 29 cookies. Not an additional dozen.)
• Cookies are packaged in a box. Orders can be individually bagged for an additional fee
• I can accommodate large cookie orders when my schedule allows.
NO CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES TO ORDERS THE WEEK OF PICK-UP/DELIVERY.
Party Cakes (Includes Large Parties and Quinceañeras)
• Pricing: All quotes for party cakes are given on a case by case basis. Prices are determined depending on size, design and detail. I will need an idea of your design and number of servings to provide a quote.
• Cakes three tiers and over require delivery, with no exceptions. Anyone choosing to transport their own cake must sign a waiver at pick-up.
NO CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES TO ORDERS THE WEEK OF PICK-UP/DELIVERY.
Wedding Cakes
• Pricing starts at $3.50/serving. Prices are subject to change.
• Additional charges could be added depending on design.
• Require a $150.00 deposit to hold your date. This deposit will be applied to your balance. See Refund/Cancellation Polices.
• Full payment is due 3 weeks before the wedding date, NO EXCEPTIONS.
• NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE TO YOUR ORDER LESS THAN THREE WEEKS BEFORE THE DATE.
• Anyone choosing to transport their own cake must sign a waiver at pick-up.
• Once your order is delivered or exchanged, Peace Love & Cakes is no longer liable for any damage. This also applies to deliveries and exchanges via a third party.
Wedding Consultations
• I am available for wedding consultations on Monday and Tuesday evenings to discuss designs and flavors.
• During the consultation you can schedule a time to pick up a tasting box at a later date.
