  Where is the Emergency Vet and how do you go about paying? I have no money what so ever and I need to take my dog to the vet, he's weak and he doesn't want to walk (he will but he doesn't want to), he has the runs and he was shaking earlier. He threw up once today as well. I really need to try to take him to the Emergency Vet but if I don't know where they are I can't find out how to pay and if I could take him or not? I tried posting in York County Lost and Found Pets but my post never went up???? Can someone help me out here???

  I was referred to your group because I have a rescued collie -smooth coat. His name is Satchel. Because of CEA he is totally blind. We are new to the Charlotte NC area and while Satchel is followed by our new vet, I have yet to find a veterinary ophthalmologist in the area. Recently, the center of Satchel's eye turned red. The vet Rx'd antibiotic drops and checked eye pressure. It was fine, but I would like to consult a specialist. Any suggestions?

  Welcome to Charlotte, Satchel. We have a collie with CEA and sees only partially in one eye In Charlotte adopted from CRC. We saw a veterinary opthomologist when we got him. He was referred by our vet and was in Pineville. I think it was Carolina veterinary specialists mentioned above. They were very nice but said nothing they can do with CEA. 😥😥

  Looking for an ophthalmologist in the Charlotte area to examine my Collie Abbey ' s eyes. Not sure if she's developing cataracts, she just turned 3 years old. Took her to our vet in Rock Hill, SC and blood work was fine. The vet was going to refer us to an ophthalmologist, but haven't heard anything in three weeks. Any suggestions would be most appreciated! Thank you!!!

  Carolina Veterinary Specialists or CVS. I've used them many times. They have a great veterinary ophthalmologist. They have three locations. The one that is closest to the airport is the one that has the veterinary ophthalmologist. They are excellent. http://www.carolinavet.com

  We used Carolina Vet right near u but definetly not cheap. Would use them again if necessary. They did surgery for arthritis and Holli and Nuddy ate rat poison. 704 815 3939
