  I'm researching driveway installation and wanted to ask for any first-hand experience and contractor recommendations. We need someone who can work with the city on piping/covering an existing drainage ditch and who could also level the ground/build a retaining wall, I imagine. Greenest materials a requirement.   We had a seismic retrofit done on our house by Sound Seismic, and the brothers that own that company also own Jackson Remodeling. I would give them a call, very honest, green based, and here in Ballard. If you use them, check out the Chinook book for a coupon for services from them.....I didn't notice the $400 one for Sound Seismic until after we'd done our install! :/ http://jacksonremodeling.com/
