  There are several kids salon places around, for example, Sharkey's Cuts for Kids by Trader Joe's in Ballard, or Beach Comber Kids Cuts on Phinney Ridge, but if you don't want to go that route, Epic Style in Magnolia is a good low key and reasonably priced choice. They have a kid friendly room set aside from the main salon and I think a haircut is $20 for kids. http://www.epicstylesseattle.com
