  Metallic-type thread - anyone have any advice about using it? I suppose most metallic-type thread doesn't include real metal (or is there a brand that does)? Is there some sort of industry classification one can go by, or is it just all guess-work? Any great sources on where to acquire it? Can you use it in machines, or is it mostly for hand-sewing? Any advice/experience in using it (did you use it for machine or hand embroidery, to sew on trim, etc.)? This is a general inquiry--I don't have a specific project at present, just wanting to open the discussion to learn more about it, and hopefully others will find the info useful, too.
