  Can anyone recommend a great kennel somewhat close to Patchogue? We have a 12 year old dog with separation anxiety. We've been told she does fine in a kennel environment when we leave her (she is also on anxiety medications). I know the weather last week may have contributed, but we just picked her up from the kennel today, after a week, and found her bald on one side and limping significantly. Of course we immediately took her to the vet who aid she suspects our dog was laying on her side on a hard possibly wet surface for a very long time. We were very upset that we did not receive a phone call while we were away, the kennel did not call our vet or theirs, and when we questioned it we were told she was fine and had been napping. Anyways, now the hunt is back on. Suggestions are greatly appreciated.
