  I need a lawyer to take my slum landlord to court I am looking for an attorney to take my landlord to court. There was a fire that was caused by my neighbors (vacant house that squatters broke into) and he has not fixed anything but the holes. There are also leaks causing black mold they be refuses to even have someone look at, there is also extremely bad termites which have caused the doors to fall off in the kitchen. I have complained numerous times and he will send someone out and the work never gets done or it’s months later. He let my bathtub leak into my kitchen for 2 months. I have been with him for years and even offered to move to another location but he says he can’t do that. I have been paying rent the entire time. My son has even been injured because they left nails exposed. I really need out of this rental agreement. If you can advise a good lawyer that would be great.

  Unfortunately, renters’ rights in Arkansas are absolute shit, but I hope you succeed. I’d start by connecting with [Arkansas Legal Services](http://www.arlegalservices.org) and [Legal Aid of Arkansas](https://arlegalaid.org). These guys can help pro bono if you’re within a certain income bracket. Otherwise, they can lead you to where you need to go. Good luck.

  Arkansaslegal.com is just an ad domain for a bunch of other pages. I know about arlegalservices.org but it is for legal aid of Arkansas and they only have the packets for no minor children. Which is not the case. :(

  Pattie Platt, you need to get in contact with the VOCALS (Volunteer Organization for Center of Arkansas Legal Services) (501) 376-3423 and see how you get on the list for pro bono (free legal services) work. Attorneys are required to have some pro bono time. http://www.arlegalservices.org/vocals
