Phone line / chat service? I've noticed with my binges that almost always, the worst part is that I feel like I'm inside my body, watching it happen, and I know I don't want to do it, and I just can't make myself not do it. I'm fully aware it's happening \-\- it's not just regret after.
Does anyone know of a phone line or chat service or something? I've tried doing accountability things with friends, but it's just not consistent enough. I'm wondering if I could just talk to someone for five minutes, they could help me break this automated/helpless feeling.

I have no idea why people are downvoting you, just because something doesn't work for them doesn't mean it won't work for others. My friend had a lot of success with the NEDA helpline when she was struggling with anorexia, they helped her a ton. It's worth a shot! 800-931-2237 Good luck :) Edit - posted wrong # by mistake!
Does anyone have suggestions on how/where to find help for an adult woman with an eating disorder?
Looking for programs (outpatient), therapists, support groups, anything that might help-- and might have some immediate availability.
