THE HOME SERVICE LTD has hundreds of part time employees across the country, all carefully vetted and interviewed in their own homes and chosen for their trustworthiness, sense of reponsibility, common sense, discretion, honesty, and love of animals. When you are away, the one best suited to your needs takes over the running of your household and lives in your home until you return., providing security for the property and care and affection for the animals in the surroundings they know and love. We call our employees "Guardians" to remind us all of their responsibilities. They work - often as a husband and wife team - to a comprehensive brief provided by you,the client which details how you want us to ensure security at your home, feed and exercise your pets and what needs to be done in the house and garden. They have a set of rules which they agree to abide by. They bring their own food, towels and bed linen and ask only for a warm, safe, comfortable environment such as they enjoy in their own homes. Some Guardians have been with us since we started in 1997. They come from all walks of life, but principally from the professions and the services, both civil and military. They are often looked on by clients almost as 'members of the family'.
Looking for recommendations for a house sitter next year, for 3 weeks, looking after 3 dogs and poultry
Victoria V. replied:
We always use 'housesitters.co.uk'. It doesn't cost you a penny as the sitters look after your house, garden and pets in return for a holiday in your house. We've always picked sitters carefully and checked ID (although the site does that too as they have to pay to join to be a sitter). We've always had good experiences.
Can anybody recommend dog sitters who can look after my dog while I'm on holiday? Would rather not put him in kennels. Thanks.

Hi Siobhan, we had a lovely couple from Housesitters.co.uk, will message you there number.... they came and stayed in our house while we were away and looked after our dog and three cats.... no charge to either party and all very reassuring....
Is there any local dog sitting services available (or people that would stay in our home while we're away) to avoid putting our wee guy into the kennels next year? If not, what local kennels would folk recommend? Thanks in advance

Try housesitters.co.uk we have used them twice and had welcomed two lovely people to our home. Safe house, happy pets!
