Hi
I wonder if anyone can recommend a local central heating expert who may be able to resolve the following issue:
I've got a 2 year old Vaillant boiler and recently there's been an issue where sometimes the boiler stays on and there is noise/heat in the airing cupboard indicating that the motorised valves "think" the system is still needed even though it's the middle of the night and the hot water/radiators are long switched off. The boiler then keeps cycling through a short sequence every half hour or so. I know it's not supposed to do this because it never used to do it and it hasn't done it all of the time it's been installed.
2 weeks ago, it started doing this again and it's been consistent this time so I phoned HomeServe with whom I have cover and an engineer came out today. He said the problem was the motorised valve and then replaced it which *seemed* to resolve the issue for about an hour or so but now it's doing it again :(
I am therefore thinking that there is something more fundamentally wrong with the system (perhaps the wiring?) and would like someone to have a look and check as I'm not confident HomeServe's engineers will do anything other than keep throwing motorised valves at the system.
Can anyone recommend someone who could come and have a look and give me some advice as this is driving me dollally trying to get it resolved once and for all.
Thanks in advance
