Would appreciate a translation of the Hebrew. She's buried in Peoria. Her husband, Israel, was one of the founding members/rabbis of Agudas Achim in Peoria. I believe he's buried in Beth Olem Cemetery in Hamtramck, MI. The phone number for the cemetery doesn't work, and the cemetery is only open twice a year. I'd love a photo of his headstone. Triple dipping here (three separate topics in one post), their daughter Laura Broudy (~1862 - 1951) married David Simons, a prominent Jew in Detroit. They are the parents of Seymour Simons (1896 - 1959), who was a famous composer in his day. Fourth dip -- my connection to Sarah and Israel is their grandson Noah. He married my grandmother's cousin, Lena Michelson. Have been trying to find his descendants. His two daughters and their descendants are accounted for, but after a lot, and I mean a lot, of creative searching, I'm convinced that his three sons (Israel - 1907, Sam - 1909 or 1910, Harold - Oct or Nov 1916) changed their last name. No records for any of them after 1925 under Broudy/Brody or anything similar. Anyone know where to find records of name changes?
