  ISO:VW air-cooled mechanic.I NEED soomebody to come to me house and get my 1970 VW bus going. PLease only reply if you are familiar with these busses. It is a 1970 bus with a 1600. I have taken the gas tank out and had it cleaned due to rust, replaced the filter and lines, new carberator, fuel pump, distruibuter,points,cap ,roter,wires and plugs,coil. I just can get it to run. turns over but wont fire. Willing to pay cash and travel time.

  You could try calling West Side Automotive. They specialize in VW and I know they have rebuilt many a beauty like yours. Not sure if they have a mobile person but it is worth a shot. 780-489-8021
