  Has anyone used this grass protection mesh to make a car parking area on a field and was it any good? Need to do something for my parking spot, despite my best efforts to be careful, 2 ton of 4x4 has destroyed all the grass and it needs to be re seeded soon.   I have used this type of thing, not quite like what is pictured. It does not look as durable as the mats I have. If you are putting this down on what is already mud, you will need to work with some kind of base, such as stone dust, then put a small amount on top as well, filling the holes.   I have used rubber mats for many years. I am surprised that more people do not do as I do and stick them down. No more lifting to clean under them. It is necessary to use purpose made adhesive. I get this from Quattro. Their mats are of superior quality. I have also used the Quattro adhesive to successfully stick down Equimat mats. If you do this properly, it lasts for years.
