I'm so upset right now. My daughter was going to a pediatrician's office that I did not like. While I liked her particular pediatrician they had limited hours that didn't work with my work schedule and the back up pediatrician just didn't agree with me. For numerous reasons I decided to change offices. So I scheduled an appointment with Dr Lori Aversa Coyler because she was located on the corner of my house, had evening hours twice a week and she was well reviewed. I schedule an appt and show up for said appt and I'm told they refuse to see me because they have a good rapport with my previous Dr. Never did they ask how my daughter was doing, if she really needed to see a dr or make a suggestion of where I could take her if she really needed medical attention. I was appalled! Is this legal? I guess if it's private practice it's legal but so very unprofessional. I'm allowed to switch medical professionals for my children. To even get a second opinion if necessary. That being said I have to find a good pediatrician and take my kid to urgent care in the meantime to be seen. Any referrals?
