  Can someone recommend a pool contractor/repair person that can assist me in removing my hose from the overflow. I was told by my pool contractor to place a hose in the overflow to flush the sand that was clogging the pipe. The hose has been stuck since Fri and I had to shut off the power to the pool as the pool was self draining because of the stuck valve. Pool contractor said someone will be out this morning but I am still waiting and need a backup plan.

  Hi T Marie - Im a local pool contractor. You can get about 10 degrees with a solar. Mostly Oct- April are the months most needed. New high efficeny heaters have come along way in the past few years and you will see about a $30 diffrence on your FPL bill.
