I've got a 1959 Zephyr which is running beautifully but needs something doing to the tension as it keeps bunching up underneath. I also have a Singer (1970s) - it's motor blew up but otherwise it's fine :0) .... was my mum's so would love to get it up and running again. Cheers all.

  Can anyone recommend a sewing machine mechanic in North Cheshire/Manchester area please? My machine has had a break down (of course in the middle of a last minute pre-Odyssey sewing job which I had to finish by hand!). Its a Singer at least 35 years old, but I'm not ready to scrap it as it has sentimental value.
