  We have recently adopted from http://www.oldhamcats.co.uk. We got him 4 weeks ago he is 17 months but they had kittens too but we didn’t want a little kitten. Worth a call to see what they have in (advise you call then visit, some go very quick and they don’t pick up social media messages quickly) Also huddersfield cats rehoming groups and heron bank.

I don't want to put eric into a Cattery if I can help it as I don't want to stress him out anymore. Has anyone used and can recommend a cat sitting service?   Its best to ring and make sure there is one of us in to chip. I don't know who is available during the week but I am in on Saturday and I can do the chip for you. Or if not Saturday, then just ring the rescue on the day you want to go and ask if someone is available. Tel.0161 6536530 x

  Still require help for this boy, This is the stray black entire male I reported in March as being poorly, currently living at the bottom of the garden of a 92yr old lady in Langley who has already taken on 3 stray males and cannot take him too. He is in dire need of a vet and we have contacted CP but they are unable to help. Can anyone tell me where else to try? If all else fails, Iris cats in need in STOKE will try to arrange urgent transport. He has a nasty wound to his neck and abscessed wound on his back. He has lost weight since I last saw a photo of him, can anyone recommend anywhere? Or can anyone transport to ST6 its an hours drive - sadly I don't drive. Poor boy :( my mum lives nearby and has taken the video and some food round

  Claire Jones I know what it's like, I'm a volunteer from Oldham Cats. I know we are full at the mo, as we are one of the smallest rescues around. We only have 9 adult places and 4 mum/kitten spaces. Hope someome can get him to a vet soon. If you can call oldham cats tomorrow at all and speak to faye she might have a number of a cats protection man that may be able to help. Our number is 0161 653 6530 x
