  Hi all - any recommendations for taxi companies to/from Heathrow? We've been using Elite cars, but since they changed name a few months ago we've been left stranded 3 times in a row for an hour at the airport (always with the old continual 'your car is 15 minutes away' trick).

  We always use Parker cars 0208 560 0000. Always have cars on standby around the airport. Normally arrive 15 mins before they need. Also send a text to say where they are and when they arrive.

  Parker Cars - not sure how big they are, but cannot fault their driving, charges or levels of courtesy. 020 8560 0000 Always turn up where and when they say and send text message updates with car reg and drivers name. Actually found them to be a bit cheaper than most mini cabs (where the driving has been questionable as well!).
