I hired this plumber to install a hot water heater, after which, the water was coming out of the tap at 190 degrees. At this temperature, water can instantly cause sever burns, and is potentially deadly. When I called him about it, he didn’t even want to come fix it, aggressively insisting that it wasn’t his fault. When I pressed him to come back, he relented only after I pointed out that he also neglected to another important part of the job (attaching a pipe to a pressure-relief valve) unrelated to the temperature issue. When he did come back to install that pipe, he refused to even diagnose the problem. He just insisted that I get someone else to figure it out. He charged a flat-rate of $650, for less than 3 hours of work, then refused to complete the job, leaving me in a hazardous situation, and had the gaul to refuse me any refund whatsoever when I had to find another way to undo his negligent work and complete the job. It was eventually determined that he had done the wiring incorrectly, essentially bypassing the thermostat which is there to prevent injury from dangerously hot water.
In need of local plumber that would come right away?
