  I found 2 abandoned baby squirrels yesterday on the pavement of a parking lot. Only a day or two old. I put them in some tissue and took them to the vet. The vet didn't expect them to survive but said the best bet was to put them back close to where I found them and hopefully the mama will come back, so I did. I thought about them all night and all day today and decided to go back and see if they had made it through the night. Not expecting to find them alive they were still in the same place that I left them untouched and alive. I deduced that the mother wasn't coming back and that I needed to take them home and keep them warm and try to help them survive. I know absolutely nothing about raising baby squirrels and I'm wondering if anybody out there has any advice on what to do or where I can take them. i've already bought kitten replacer and I've tried to feed them the kitten replacer with a tiny syringe and I'm not sure if they're getting any or not. Their body temperature is much warmer than it was. Any suggestions??
