Looking for a similar place for a wedding. Any ideas.

Congratulations! Once you secure your venue, let me know if you need any information about catering! I work with Green Planet Catering, a company who creates amazing food menus while minimizing waste (earth-friendly) and sourcing food locally. I'd love to chat if you are interested! Cheers to you both and best wishes! Christine at greenplanetcatering.com.
So we're planning a wedding... My fiance and i are planning a wedding, and we're looking at venues for the reception. Our primary choice right now is the Shrine Club (Cardinal Hall), because it's the only one with even remotely reasonable prices, as far as i can tell. We'd like to avoid locations downtown if possible, because we have lots of people coming in from out of town and i don't want to impose downtown on them.
We're also looking for recommendations for florists, bakeries, bands/DJs, etc. i love to support mom&pop shops, but i'm not very good at finding them. We'll have 75-100 people, and we'd like to keep the wedding relatively simple. Anyone have any tips?
Thanks in advance :)

I used to work for Green Planet Catering when they needed extra waitstaff. They're all really good people and all of the food I did get to try was so freaking good. I always said that if I was still around the triangle if/when I got married they would be my first call. http://www.greenplanetcatering.com/
