Orthopedic surgeons / sports doctors: Timothy or Stephen Johnson. They were recommended highly to me, but the brothers are located in Lansdowne VA. (703) 729-5010
So 9 months post ACL surgery and I'm still having knee pain, swelling, and a lot of instability. This being said does anyone know of a good orthopedic surgeon? Thanks.

Recommendations (SP) for a good sports orthopedist in the leesburg area?
Tania K. replied:
YES- check out their resumes. VERY impressive. Brothers. They are cream of the crop. I was SO impressed with Dr David Johnson who I saw after going to Dr Kavanaugh for years. Love Dr K but these guys know all the new modern techniques. Dr David J earned a fellowship in Vail at the clinic where many olympic athletes go. His brother is a Yale graduate and is a team dr for the Orioles. http://www.nationalsportsmed.com/
Anyone have recommendations for an orthopedist for the knee. I need to take Abigail. Any opinions on Countryside or Commonwealth Orthopedics?

Oh yeah, so glad someone mentioned Natl Sports Med Institute. Drs Johnson amd Johnson. We see Dr Tim Johnson. That's where Stephan goes for all his lacrosse injuries. Very knowledgeable and aware of getting a person back into their "sport." I highly recommend them. http://www.nationalsportsmed.com
