  Not sure if this is allowed on this site, take post down if not...I'm fairly new to the area and need to find a different dentist for my family. I'm looking for a dentist who is in business for him/herself and not in a dentist chain, or maybe there are 2 dentists in the office. My young adult son just went to a dentist chain here in Gilbert AZ for a cleaning and brought home an estimated gum scaling treatment plan for $10,000 and they didn't clean his teeth as we had asked! I'm so frustrated with this one particular dentist office that offers one stop shopping (cleanings, braces, periodontics, etc), but skips the one simple request for a cleaning, and then quotes a patient $10,000 worth of work. My son has been seeing a dentist regularly before our move here, so it is not as though he has gone years without seeing a dentist, and no one has ever told him he needs 10K in work done. Slightly frustrated.....
