Blue Tick Coon Hound
$300 - New Castle, DE
We unfortunately need to re-home our Blue Tick, Gunner. We thought we were doing this boy a favor when we adopted him but he needs to be with a family who is home more often. He is a very loving & gentile dog with a loud & unique bark. He needs to be with a family that will give him plenty of exercise & play. He absolutely loves going on his nightly walks & loves to play tug-of-war. Unfortunately when our family leaves in the morning it takes him awhile to stop barking & calm down. So I think it's best if he goes to home with someone who will be home most of the day or to someone who can keep him outside securely in a well fenced yard or on a farm. I would also recommend that he not go to a home with cats. We were told when we adopted him that he was raised with cats but that is clearly not the case. He has not tried to attack our cats but because of his high prey drive (it's a coon thing) he wants to chase them around when he gets into his playful moods. Gunner knows quite a few commands. He will come with plenty food & treats, all his toys along with his leather collar, a Soresto Flea Collar that still has 8 months of use ($70 value), really nice harness & leash. We just had all his shots done & a health inspection, he will come with all the paper work we received when we got him along with the paperwork from our vet. Gunner has been neutered & just turned 3. Please feel free to contact me with questions, we will ask for a vet reference & ask a few questions ourselves. We are asking $300 or best offer depending on the kind of home you can provide our baby. We want to make sure that who ever gets him will be able to afford his upkeep, he is a large dog that requires a lot of food.
