Originally the homestead of Maggie Setzer, for whom Maggie Valley was named, the land that Mountain Joy Cottages sits on is a special place. You'll become enchanted with its mountain charm, family atmosphere, and character. We offer all of the modern conveniences you would expect with year-round access and seclusion that very few can offer. Enjoy a quiet relaxing afternoon while rocking on your own private front porch or have a ball playing in our two acre meadow. A special treat on the weekends is roasting marshmallows at a campfire. Or if fishing is up your stream, try your luck in our stocked trout pond. Also we have many attractions within just a few miles for those adventurers who wish to ski, hike, shop, or eat! So come stay and visit a while with us and enjoy a complete Mountain Joy experience!
