Anyone have opinions on the Devon campground? (Tenting area?)

I am set up to camp at Clear Lake Park for the summer. This is near Thunderlake Provincial Park. The nearest town is Barrhead, Ab. My family has been camping here for 60 years this year and we are on our 6 th generation of family members who have camped there. The rates are very reasonable $15/night or $200 / mnth for your own spot. There are no power, sewer sites at all. However, there is a pumphouse for water and a sewer station to empty into. Generators are welcome but must be quiet ones. 77 sites total. Lots of different size lots to chose from. This is a place where people go to camp, make friends and then just keep coming back year after year. July long weekend is great with an awesome fireworks show on the beach that lasts forever. They have a ball diamond, playgrounds, volleyball net, horseshoe pit. Last year the even had paddle boats that the manager would loan out to campers for free. The fishing is Jackfish and perch. Nearby Dolberg lake has trout that you can catch right off the dock! Firewood can be purchased for $40/ gator load. You get quite a bit. Large group sites are available. So, if anyone is looking for a decent place to camp at then this is it. 780-674-5307 to book a spot or get more information. No, I don't work there and yes I am sharing this info because I truly think this is a hidden gem. Happy Camping! :)
