  To the electricians in the group: I just have a question that I hope you can help me with. I have a 20 amp, 230 volt dedicated line for my living room air conditioner. I bought a new air conditioner that requires a 15 amp, 230 volt. Can I still plug in the new air conditioner to the dedicated line or do I have to change the 20 amp to a 15 amp? The plug at least will need to be changed. If a wiring change is needed service provider recommendations and general pricing would be appreciated. TIA for any help you can give.
