  Can I just recommend an electrician. ..ICM Electrical have just completed a large job for me involving hiding wiring around old Victorian house for smoke detectors etc. Really nice group of guys. Knew their stuff. Arrived when they had arranged they would and worked in a great team to get the job done. One day ahead of schedule!!! .   Hi Fiona, try Murray Fraser https://www.facebook.com/MurrayFraserDomesticAppliances If the machine is blowing the socket fuse (ie a bang) then there is a live - earth/neutral fault if it is just tripping socket circuit (no banging) then I could be a neutral earth fault.
