  Recently moved to PG. We are getting pretty desperate for a Family Dr. My daughter in law has mental health issues and a brain injury. She needs a Dr that can sort out her issues, fill out her Disability forms and refer her to specialists. Walk in clinic have been of no assistance and send her on her way. Not sure how to help her or guide her. Anyone know of a Dr accepting patients. She needs to be seen right away and the one Dr I did find Dr Burg, his clinic is closed for the week and the reviews are not so great. Any help is appreciated. TY

  For the mental health aspect, call either CAST or COAST. They connect people with psychiatrists and councilors. Also contact the Brain injury group. CAST: 250-565-2666 COAST: (250) 565-7472 Brain Injury Group: (250) 564-2447

  Try CAST (250-565-2666), though i think they are phasing out there counselling and focusing more on groups, you could also try COAST(not sure the number but cast would have it) , or CRU as mentioned above. Native friendship centre also does counselling i believe. and if you call the Blue pine clinic (250-596-8100) a lot of counsellors are being moved and practicing there. (but that is being phased in still i think, so not sure how that works.) but if you call any of those places they will be able to direct you! Good luck and i hope you find something that works! You can also call the crisis line and they will definitely get you the resources! The groups at CAST are awesome as well.
