Looking for a recommendation for someone to investigate and stop a conservatory roof leak:
The conservatory is about 11yrs old and in good order. 2yrs ago we had the polycarbonate sheets replaced with the latest double glazed argon filled, self cleaning glass. Since then we have had a problem with a leak. The company that fitted the glass has been out 3 times over the past 12 months and basically added more and more sealant. The leak has reduced but not stopped. I'm not convinced that the problem isn't with the seals around the top of the glass, but can't say for certain. I have tried to identify the cause by pouring water onto the roof but this never seems to result in a leak. Hosing the roof down sometimes does and sometimes when it rains, but not always.
So, We 're looking for someone that is an expert with conservatory roof systems, to investigate and stop the leak. If this involves removing and re-fitting the glass then so be it.
Anyone got a recommendation?
