  LiquidGym - best physio around. They specialize in both rehab and training. Sounds like you have hit their specialty - not just physio, but physio for people with challenges. They can work with you both "on land" and in the water which gives great options if weight bearing is an issue.   Hi there, I finished the 1/2 Marathon today and I've had issues with my left knee for a lil while. I'm looking for a good physiotherapist that can help me find out exactly what's going on and hopefully fix the issue. Was dissapointed that my knee gave out at 7K and had to finish it by walking...in a lot of pain. If anyone could help me with where to go that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. :)

We have land and water-based classes, underwater treadmills and underwater bikes, as well as an AlterG Anti-Gravity Treadmill (only one in Ottawa) for pain-free, low-gravity walking/running.   Hi All: my mother has a very bad back she has had three spinal fusions, uses a walker and is currently experiencing a tremendous amount of pain likely from sciatica it's been almost a full week. She attempted one visit to a physio office however it was an incredibly horrible experience for her. I am wondering does anyone know of someone woman preferred in the kanata stittsville area who is experienced in working with those who have had long term back issues ( she has two metal rods in her back) as such very important the person is very knowledgable and also does acupuncture. I hate to see her in such pain... It's heartbreaking. If you know of someone pls PM me. Thank you.

  Hi Jolene, If you call 613-820-8228 today before noon, our receptionist could book your mom an appointment with Lindsay, one of our physiotherapists. She’d need to complete an assessment first to determine if treatment in the water is appropriate for your mother. Many of our patients have experienced relief from doing physio in the warm water due to the effects of buoyancy which is a non-weight-bearing, zero gravity environment. The initial assessment is 1 hourr in length. At the moment, Lindsay has the following openings for next week: Monday at 8 am or 11:30, Wednesday - 12 noon, Friday - 2 pm.
