My entire life, i've been privileged by being surrounded by incredibly artistic people. Whether it was music lessons or art camp, I was pushed to be passionate about everything I was a part of.
Going into college I hadn't a clue on what I should do. In my first semester, I met an exceptional professor who led me to believe that I had an "eye" for photography. After spending several hours in a darkroom, I started to believe him. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Murray State University with an emphasis in Photography.
I'm blessed to be able to capture moments that will only happen once. Studio Llotus is a project I started to spread the importance of photographs and the people within them. It's grown from a side job, to a full time job that I wouldn't trade for anything.
Why the double L? I am extremely nostalgic. Although I never got to meet my grandfather, I've been told that my personality reflects who he was. I spent a lot of time growing up with my grandmother who talked about him everyday and made sure that I knew what a unique person he was. His name was Lloyd. I wanted something to hold on to him in my everyday life, giving me the double L in Llotus.
