  ase.com it's 65 dollars to register and 35 dollars per test. And the places to take tests vary from Taylorsville and Lindon I think there are a couple more places too.

By having someone untrained or undertrained working on your car can lead to other expenses in the long run or heaven forbid, put you and your family in any danger by doing the repairs incorrectly. Speaking of which......due to an "untimely" layoff where I used to work in town....
