  Hi neighbors!! I need your help once more! I have a leaky/cracked drain pipe from my 2nd floor guest bathroom. It's caused water damage on my living room wall, not significant as I just noticed it, but over time it's done its damage. I need recommendations for a good, affordable and reputable plumber.   I wouldn't get rid of the radiators either, but if you do decide to, I'll buy one or two from you. Our neighbor Jeff Boyer with Hubris Mechanical does heating and cooling in old homes, with minimal "cutting" into floors and walls. 717-333-1121. He actually replaced our oil boiler with a highly efficient gas one, using our existing radiators and pipes; electric hot water was also replaced with a gas one, firing off of the new boiler.

  I have a recommendation for a local contractor (Chestnut Hill resident) who is experienced in replacing old oil or gas boilers with efficient gas models that also heat domestic hot water. Switching from an oil boiler and electric hot water heater to an all gas system has saved us thousands of dollars a year in energy costs. We have hot water radiators and our house was never warm until the new system was installed. I'll gladly get you in touch with them if you are interested.
