HELP! HELP! Dentist Recommendation for Root Canal and Crown I went to a dentist close by my house this morning because of toothache. I was told to do below procedures for my #30 tooth (Molar Tooth)-
[Endodontic therapy, Molar (excluding final restoration)]
[Core buildup, including any pins when required] and
[Crown- Porcelain/ Ceramic Substrate]. Basically Root Canal and Crown. The price they gave me was 1910. Is it fair price? I don't have insurance. Would appreciate your response.

The Unversity of Texas school of dentistry here in Houston. I got a root canal there, (recommended by my dentist who does not do them) and it was around $800. They did a great job but it took about four hours. You need to make an appointment right now as they fill up very quickly. Not sure if they do crowns. You might want to ask if you call them. 713-486-4000.

You can save lots of money, by going to the Houston Dental College. They are in a new bldg. With state of the art equipment. Give them a call (713) 486-4000. You can also go to their website.
Can anyone give me any information regarding mobile dentists? Since Sammy hasn't had his dentures in for over 2 months, they no longer fit and we need to get him new ones. Only problem is he can't leave the hospital for that. His speech therapist said it would help with his speech as well as his ability to eat different kinds of food. Any input is appreciated. He is in the Clear lake/Webster area if that helps. Thanks! :)
