Any suggestions for a reliable, honest, good appliance repair.person (my washing machine - front loader - sounds like a elephant in my laundry room when it spins). I'm in Holland. Tx for any suggestions :)

Shannon, we had the same thing - our washer was sounding like an elephant. We have a front loader, and it was the 'axle' that the drum spins on that was failing. The guy was honest with us and told us he could fix it, but it would be really expensive , and it would likely never be the same, or, we could just run it like it is until it quits, and start saving for a new one... I really appreciated that - his honesty smile emoticon He is The Appliance Doctor (I see someone recommended him already). His number is 772-1758....

Larry Underwood the Appliance Doctor. 772.1758. He also recommended someone else when he was out of town. Really nice, quick fixer and reasonably priced. We have used him 5-6 times.
