  Thinking about remodeling my basement and possibly "opening up" the stairwell so that my kitchen and dining room "feel" larger/more open to each other. Need some advice, though. Anyone know an interior designer/decorator who could offer some advice or guidance? Not too pricey, either. I don't have a "Homearama" house...lol.

  You can also call Ronnie's son, Ryan, who owns Hartlage Home Improvement at (502) 396-2265. He is the one that did our staircase and could probably give you some ideas. He does great work!!
