in search of a local appliance repair person....our ice maker isn't working....

Try defrosting it. If that doesn't help definitely call Karkoska. The number I have for him is 610-948-1229. I sell appliances and we've referred people to him for many years

Definitely Karkoska - believe it's Jim, not John. 610-948-1229. Leave a message if no answer - he is good at calling back.
I know it's been asked before please don't hate me. (Only have fb on my phone right now so no clue how to search old posts). Can anyone recommend a washer repair service?
Anyone have any recommendations on an Appliance Repair person in our area? Our oven decided to play by its own rules and not stop heating at the preset temperature. Nothing like having a preheat set at 325 and open up the door to find the gates of hell. Not to mention pressing the Off button does nothing to stop it....

I usually use google and DIY..... Otherwise: J W Karkoska Appliance Services PO Box 345 Spring City, PA 19475 (610) 948-1229
What are your recommendations for a reliable, reasonable appliance repair service? This morning my washer overflowed because the mechanism that tells the water to stop, didn't stop it. Water water everywhere!
Can anyone recommend an oven repair person? Stovetop seems fine. The oven isn't heating up as it normally does (verrrrry slow) and we often smell gas when the pilot is lit.
Can someone recommend someone local to see if our oven can be repaired before I go and buy a new one? Someone that specializes in ovens would be preferred.
Looking for suggestions for a person to repair my dryer. Thanks!

I have used Mr. Karkoska several times over the years. I'm not sure if he is still in business but you could try calling him. Very reasonable! (610) 948-1229
