  Cracked laptop screen needs TLC & recommendations for a locally owned computer repair shop Somehow I managed to crack the screen of my laptop so half the screen is blank. I was about to replace it anyways since it has served me faithfully for the last 8 years. This just moved the timeline up & added some more steps when it comes pulling everything off to move it to the new machine. I do NOT want to go to Geek Squad or other corporately owned repair places. It has to be a small business or a local chain found only here in the metro/surrounding areas. I live downtown & work out in the eastern burbs. I’m willing to go anywhere in the metro for a trustworthy company with fair pricing. I would also like to have an established relationship with a shop for any basic maintenance or issues I run into in the future. Thank you in advance for any leads you can give me!

  You might call B.E. Tek (www.betek.com) -- my dealings with them have been limited but they seem to be pretty above board and are definitely locally owned and located in Waldo.

Apple says it's an 800$ repair, but I'm wondering if anyone knows a good computer repair person in Kc or even AZ (I'll be there in December) I know for sure some parts need to be replaced..
