  Friends need recommendation for hot water heater company or HVAC company. 2 nights in a row have been awakened in the middle of the night to a very strong burning smell (smells like burnt brocolli) Called furnace company right after first incident, they totally cleaned oil furnace and serviced it all. Smelled smell again last night late at night, called Fire Dept. (Thanks Chip Lillie & Jeffrey Lillie) They ran thermal cameras through the entire house, walls, floors and ceilings. Saw nothing....said it was most likely furnace. Oil furnace company is here again and saying its not the oil furnace. Its very scary to wake up in the middle of the night thinking your house is abt to burn down and I would VERY much like to get to the bottom of this...Anyone ever had anythng like this happen to them? Referrals for a good HVAC or Gas Hot Water Heater guy? Help:(
