Recommendations for an Orthopedic Surgeon! Sugar Land Area preferably, but willing to travel. Podiatrist says I have a Tailor Bunion (bunion on my pinky toe side) and bursitis and need surgery. I am in SO much pain and can barely walk. He has giving me steroid injections which have done nothing. I have heard from a few people to not let a podiatrist operate on me, but idk if that is just talk or what. So I thought I would get a second opinion before jumping to surgery. No insurance either. Sigh.

Not in Sugarland, but when I had back surgery, the [bone and joint clinic](http://www.bjc-houston.com/) on fannin. They've helped a number of friends and relatives over the years, so I can't praise them enough.
Does anybody have an excellent orthopedic that they would recommend? It's time for a check up and to have some x-rays done. I have not found a new orthopedic surgeon since mine passed away last summer. :(

I like Dr Labbe at the Bone and Joint Clinic. He works at St Luke's in the Medical Center though. 713-790-1818.
