  Advice on tailoring and finding a good tailor? I've been meaning to ask and a couple recent posts touched on it and reminded me. From time to time here on Reddit I've seen a post make it to r/All about how much of a difference a great tailor can make for regular everyday clothes, not just your nicer stuff. Jeans, shirts, they really make a great case for it. I'd love to give it a go for myself (male) and if I can convince her, my college-age daughter. I have no idea where to start in terms of finding a tailor that doesn't find this beneath them (if that's even a thing?) and then what would be a couple of good first items to bring to them that might convince me--and I'm hoping my daughter--that it's something worth doing. Anyone here use a tailor for this sort of thing? EDIT: Thank you all for the suggestions. Exactly what I was looking for.
