Maria was raised in Encinitas where she graduated from San Dieguito School District and later moved to Oceanside where she graduated from Mira Costa College. Maria remained in Oceanside for the majority of her life where she eventually would marry and raise four children. In 2001, Maria and her husband decided to explore new ventures and moved to Temecula where they presently live.
Maria's passion has always been helping people in her community. Her past experience includes fifteen years of Community Outreach and Social Services; of which she spent the last four as a First Time Home Buyer Down Payment Assistance Program Coordinator. Maria made the leap to the real estate industry in 2004 when she graduated from McMillin Real Estate Institute and became a Licensed Realtor. Maria currently practices Real Estate at Donahoe Tobias Real Estate in Temecula
Maria's passion has not changed: she continues to enjoy helping others by assisting first time home buyers and sellers. Her vast experience includes successfully closing many short sales by negotiating a short pay off settlement between sellers and lien holders. She has also successfully assisted buyers find qualified lenders for FHA, VA and conventional loans for the purchase of their new home.
Maria received Top Producer awards in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Maria is a member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and the Southwest Riverside County Association of Realtors.
In her spare time, Maria enjoys traveling, sightseeing and volunteering at her Christian congregation. She continues find joy and fulfillment the moment she hands keys to her clients; especially if they’re a first time buyer.
