  Okay, I hate to do this, but I'm too cheap to join Angie's List. Does anyone have an air conditioning contractor they would recommend? Our system needs to be replaced, but not immanently. I've already had three contractors come over to give me a bid, but there was something about each one of them that I wasn't comfortable with. Or is this just a case of picking one you dislike the least?

  T DAC 817-483-2488. We've used him for years...I've even called him twice to tell him the air is not moving...only to have him show me ugly air filters, thick with dust. Who knew???
