Here's the problem -- we went to have new carpet put in our family room and there ended up being a really big gap between the baseboard and the floor. They took up the flooring, only to realize that water has been going down into the joists in the crawl space and they are getting rotten. We have a call into the insurance company but not sure they are going to pay for anything. I have no idea who to call. Please help us with some suggestions. Thanks!
