About us
Dr. Mike Buckner obtained his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in 1993. After an internship and associate position at Hollywood Animal Hospital in South Florida from 1993 to 1995, he moved to Pinellas County to marry his bride, Lori, a Pinellas County native. Mike and Lori now reside in Seminole with their five children.
Since 1995, Dr. Buckner has owned Michael S Buckner, DVM, Inc and been priviledged to work with several excellent veterinary hospitals in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. He has gained proficiency in many areas of the veterinary field including internal medicine, diagnostic radiology and ultrasound, and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
