  I had shoulder problems for years, literally years. Went to NYU and a surgeon there fixed it but it still caused pain. The doctors said it was only a PT issue at that point and confirmed this with multiple MRIs. No joke I went to 4 different physical therapists (including NYU Langone PT) and only the last one knew the most detailed stuff about shoulders and the actual underlying issues. Every PT I went to before would basically have me do the same exercises over and over, same stretches, same everything.
